Staff on Deakin Desktop computers should install Adobe Acrobat from the Software Center (Win) or Self Service (Mac) instead.

Mac users: Create a PDF file from the print dialog of any Mac application.
Some software, such as Microsoft Office 2016, can save your document as PDF without needing any additional components. You can also convert many files through Adobe’s free “Convert to PDF” online tools. For other programs, doPDF is a print driver that will output a PDF file. Simply print to doPDF to make simple PDF documents, readable by anyone with Adobe Reader.

doPDF is not intended as a substitute for a fully featured authoring application such as the full Acrobat package, but it enables you to present your document to users on many different computing platforms, and have it appear as you intended it.
